Globally-renowned conductor Marin Alsop returns to the Cathedral with the National Orchestral Institute + Festival to perform Gustav Mahler’s Symphony No. 2. Known as Mahler’s “Resurrection,” this orchestral masterpiece was first performance at the Cathedral by Alsop’s mentor Leonard Bernstein in 1984.

The day includes the Grandest of Processions and the celebration of a festival holy Eucharist, along with opportunities for exploring the Cathedral and joining a variety of workshops.
