Known as Mahler’s “Resurrection,” this orchestral masterpiece was first performance at the Cathedral by Alsop’s mentor Leonard Bernstein in 1984.

Highlights of this Richard Strauss-focused program include Also sprach Zarathustra, featured in Stanley Kubrick’s iconic 2001: A Space Odyssey, and the wildly popular Suite from Der Rosenkavalier, alongside John and Jim by Viet Cuong.
