Luke 6:12 “About that time, Jesus went off to a mountain to pray, and he spent the whole night there.”
Have you ever needed a day away, but weren’t able to get out of the city? Have you ever wanted to take a personal retreat but didn’t know what your heart desired from the few hours you had available? Have you ever wondered where to go, or what to do once you “began retreating?” If you answered YES to any of these questions, come join us for this day retreat at the Washington National Cathedral.
On Saturday, February 29, you are getting the EXTRA day that comes only once every four years. Take advantage of this bonus time to experience the Divine presence, with the Cathedral as our monastery for the day. Explore different aspects of making a meaningful retreat and create a template for yourself to use for future retreats in the city, while finding the space and spaces you need to retreat today. Leave refreshed and with a list of resources to support your intention to get away with yourself and the Holy One.
Wear comfortable clothes, bring a journal, a bag lunch and join us for the day.
