Under the baton of world-renowned conductor Marin Alsop, the National Orchestral Institute + Festival Philharmonic with the Heritage Signature Chorale perform Beethoven’s iconic 9th Symphony, the most popular symphony of all time, with poetry by Poet Laureate Tracy K. Smith, originally commissioned by Carnegie Hall. Under the soaring arches of the Cathedral, the orchestra will also perform Jennifer Higdon’s ethereal blue cathedral.
