The Cathedral welcomes the National Orchestral Institute + Festival under the baton of David Danzmayr, Music Director of the Oregon Symphony. Highlights of this Richard Strauss-focused program include Also sprach Zarathustra, featured in Stanley Kubrick’s iconic 2001: A Space Odyssey, and the wildly popular Suite from Der Rosenkavalier, which elicited ten curtain calls at its debut.
