× Haydn Festival: Lord Nelson Mass
Saturday, May 30, 2020 | 7:30 pm

Combining the forces of French pianist Jean-Efflam Bavouzet, the Post Classical Ensemble and Cathedra, we invite you to explore and celebrate what happens when Franz Joseph Haydn works on a larger canvass. His extraordinary piano concerto exhibits his mastery of orchestral color and creativity, and his “Lord Nelson” Mass – probably the finest of his Mass settings – offers a sense of the works that flowed from the patronage of the church.
