20s&30s Retreat: Friday evening, September 19, and Saturday, September 20, 8:30 am–3 pm.

Participants will explore the theme: “I am a young, professional Christian, now what?” Questions such as “What does the Church expect from us, young professional Christians?“ and, “What do we, young adult Christians expect from the Church?” will guide speakers, discussion, and reflection.

The retreat will be led by Becky Zartman. Becky is an Episcopal priest who also happens to be a young adult who lives and works in Washington, D.C. She is the Assistant Rector at St. Thomas’ Dupont Circle, primarily working with other young adults and to launch a new 5 pm service, and she blogs and tweets as the Vicar of H Street. Becky is interested in evangelism, biblical literacy, and the daily intersection of the Holy and the mundane. Before working with the church, Becky worked in DC’s non-profit sector.

A social in Sayre House on Friday evening, September 19, will kick off the event with fun and fellowship. The cost of this event is $25 per attendee.
